Have you ever watched a bulldozer in action, 100% pure power, this monster machine is king of the construction site. Fantastic, Frightening, Fun!

On arrival you will be given a safety briefing and course introduction. The bulldozer that you will operate is actually used to maintain our off road 4 x 4 tracks so you may actually have a real job to do with the machine.

You will have an instructor beside you at all times who will teach you how to drive the machine. Choosing the correct gear for the job and steering using levers rather than a steering wheel make this a unique driving experience. Your aim will be to move as much earth as you can without overloading the machine and causing it to stall.

Master the technique, and who knows you may be able to take on Cindy Kuby. Cindy can spin a 50-ton bulldozer in a tight circle. She can lift and dump 10,000 pounds of dirt with a loader in a single scoop and dig a 15 foot hole in 20 minutes with a backhoe. Fancy the challenge! Maybe not, but you will have a whole lot of fun.

Things you need to know

Restrictions - You must be fit, able bodied and 17 year of age or over. You must be fit enough to enable you to climb into the cab. We can give you some help if need be. Maximum weight is 114kg (18stone), maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4"0, minimum height 1.57m (5ft2"). If you do not fit inside these measurements please contact our office as we may be able to accommodate you with prior notice. A full valid UK or European driving licence will need to be brought and shown on the day. If you are not 100% able bodied but feel you could drive this vehicle safely then please call us to check if this is possible.

Other Information

Availability - This activity is run on weekdays and weekends throughout the year, with various start times both morning and afternoon.

Duration - A minimum of 60 minutes in the Bulldozer with you at the controls for the whole course. There is a briefing beforehand and debrief after the driving session followed by the presentation of a certificate. You will be at the venue for a minimum of one and a half hours.

Numbers - This is an exclusive event with one-to-one tuition, the only person in the cab with you is your instructor.

Spectator Information:

Guests are welcome and we encourage spectators to get as close to the action as safely possible, however we do ask that all guests are pre-booked. Spectators usually ride in the Juggernaut for the whole course, depending on numbers. Refreshments (tea/coffee/hot chocolate/orange/biscuits) will be available free of charge for yourself and 3 guests. We charge £5 for extra spectators. You can also pre-book taster sessions for your guests at a discounted rate to really make it a day out that everyone will enjoy.
