Description

Surrounded by a breathtaking landscape of unspoilt rolling countryside, meandering rivers and a magnificent waterfall, you are in Darwin Country, on Britain`s longest river. Canadian canoeing is a peaceful, relaxing way to travel afloat whilst taking in the spectacular sights of England`s unspoilt country side in comfort and safety.

You`ll find all sorts of wildlife on Britain`s canals and rivers - from common sights such as mallards and moorhens, to the more shy and retiring residents of the riverbank like the otter and water vole.

You will be given tuition before setting off, and don`t worry about taking a packed lunch on this trip. You will stop for a pub lunch and refreshments before continuing on your trip down river. To end your day you will board a steam train where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you pass through the steeply wooded Severn valley back to your pick up point.

Things you need to know

Your activity will last approximately 7 hours.

There will only be the two of you in your canoe but others will be on the trip with you.

There are no height or weight restrictions but a general level of fitness is required as you will be paddling down the river. If you have any medical concerns then please contact us.

Other Information

You need to be able to swim 50 meters.

The minimum age for this activity is 7 years old.

This activity operates from Monday to Sunday, from April to Mid October.
