A catamaran is an exciting but complex boat. A great experience for beginners or fairly experienced. Sailing is fun; it`s time to catch the wind!!

A catamaran has proven to be the ultimate sail training platform. Our qualified instructors will instruct you on the techniques required to sail a modern performance catamaran such as tacking (turning the boat around through the wind), sailing on a reach, gibing (turning the boat around with the wind) helming and trapezing from the wire.

o if you enjoy sailing, experience the fun of sailing a catamaran.

Things you need to know

No experience required. All equipment provided. This experience does require a moderate level of fitness and ability of movement. It is also important that you are comfortable being on the water.

Please bring light refreshments with you.

Other Information

A range of catamarans are used, favouring the Hobie Pacific 18 for adult groups. The large volume hulls with sealed buoyancy make the boat very stable and virtually unsinkable. Unbelievable speed and performance or gentle cruising in lighter winds the Pacific 18 is the perfect performance cruiser.
