Description

After an initial briefing, you will be strapped into a dual-controlled glider with your instructor. Once you`re comfortable and secure, your glider will be towed into the air by a light powered aircraft. When the towline is released, the instructor will search out some rising air and youll be totally free. If you wish, your instructor will let you take the controls and let you try a few turns and changes of altitude. Enjoy approximately 10-30 minutes in the air before making a safe landing back at the airfield.

This experience can be taken all year round subject to weather and availability.

Things you need to know

The weight and height limits vary, in general, min age is 14, min/max height is 5`2"/6`4" and max weight is 15 st. Participants aged 14-17 must be accompanied by parents. Anyone with medical conditions should consult their Doctor first.

Other Information

This experience is weather dependent. If your flight is cancelled due to the weather or a technical issue with the aircraft, you will be offered an alternative date.
