Have a go at…Stand-up Comedy Weekends are a fun weekend away, with the chance to have a go at stand-up comedy - just for the fun of it - in a comfortable, friendly environment with good food and wine.

Your hosts are comedian Bobby Bragg and comedy actor John Arthur.

They are held at beautiful venues, and include one night`s accommodation, lunch and a three course dinner on the first day, and breakfast and lunch on the second. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided throughout to ensure your comedy wheels are kept well oiled. Although the weekend is aimed at making your audience laugh, the skills are invaluable for anyone who wants to improve confidence, public speaking or presentation techniques. Bespoke group activities can also be arranged with locations available throughout the UK.

Experience Summary: The weekend usually runs from 9:30am - 5:00pm Saturday and 10:00am to 4:00pm (approx) on Sunday. All food plus tea and coffee etc. is included in the experience (excluding bar drinks). A souvenir DVD recording of the final performances is provided. The weekends have a maximum group size of 20. Everyone is welcome, from 18 to 118.

Other Information

Requirements: Minimum age 18. A sense of humour also helps!

Additional nights accommodation may be available at additional cost. Most venues have additional facilities available for guest use. E.g. pools and gym at some locations.

Guests may bring a friend or partner along to enjoy the food and facilities, but not the course, at additional cost.
