Description

Experience the thrill of the racetrack - and maybe even win a few bob - with horse racing for two. Starting with a morning visit to a leading trainer`s stables, complete with a trip to the gallops to see the horses exercise it`s then off to the turf in the afternoon to witness an exciting day at the races at one of the UK`s top courses.

You`ll have entrance to the member`s enclosure affording the best views of the course and have the opportunity to get real insider tips, straight from the horse`s mouth (almost!) with a racing professional to guide you and explain every aspect of horse racing, following form and how to place your bets.

If you prefer, an alternative horse racing experience is available at Newmarket, beginning with an afternoon tour of the National Stud followed by an evening at the races with live music to follow.

Things you need to know

Please note that transfers from the trainer`s stable to the racecourse is not included and will involve a drive of anything from 15 to 60 minutes.

Your horse racing day will typically last for a full day.

There`ll be a maximum of 24 other people in your group.

You will need to be reasonably fit as some walking is involved.

Other Information

No experience or qualifications are necessary to take part in this activity. You will be asked to sign a risk awareness form on arrival.

To participate in this activity you must be at least 17 years old.

Selected race days (excluding the big race meetings), varies according to location but generally April to October.

Spectator Information:

Unfortunately, you can`t bring family and friends along to watch you do this activity.
