Description

Following a safety briefing, you`ll learn the basics of flying these exciting machines (under supervision) - and quickly learn that it`s not as easy as the instructors make it look!

Having mastered control of your hovercraft, you`ll be moved to the Hover Cross track - flying the hovercraft over land and water around the track is a series of pursuit and relay races with other customers.

After a quick stop for a break and refreshments, to end the day every person completes 1 lap of the track to enter into the flying fish challenge with the fastest time of the year being presented with a free day to spend at the track.

Crash helmets and poncho`s are supplied, but we`d suggest you wear old clothes and bring something dry to change into - learning to fly a hovercraft over water can be a somewhat damp experience for novices!

Kent (Paddock Wood or Sandwich).

Things you need to know

This experience is available the first and third Saturday of each month in the Paddock Wood venue and the second and fourth Saturday in the Sandwich venue. Please allow 3 - 4 hours at the venue. Minimum age for this experience is 12 and maximum weight is 20 stone.
