Part I
Beginning with an informative close encounter of the Racehorse Training Yard in Hampshire, where you will meet the Racehorse Ownership Manager and see the Racehorses work on the training track in the fresh early morning mist.
You`ll be shown how they train the horses, what they are fed and the techniques used to select the best race for the horse, whilst all the time what it takes to keep these fine specimens in the highest physical condition.
Then it`s off for lunch and the chance to hear some of the highlights and low points of
Owning a Racehorse:
- 10.30 am Arrive at training yard
- Introduction with Racehorse Ownership Manager
- Meet your Racehorse
- Oversee your Racehorse put through its paces on the training track
- Lunch
- Discuss with the Ownership Manager tactics & race plan
- 1pm: Goodbye`s until Race day
Part II
Part two will be a separate day at the races where we can promise the adrenaline will
be racing as fast around your body as your horse will be around the course. With a bit
of luck you will end up in the winners enclosure.
On arrival at the Racecourse you simply need make your way to the Owners entrance
where you will receive your exclusive Owners badge. This badge unlike others when
you go racing, entitles you access to Owner only areas. Make your way to the
Owners private bar where you will meet up once again with the Racehorse Ownership
Manager who will bring you up to date with your horse`s final preparations. The
excitement, atmosphere and anticipation start to build.
When your horse is due to race you are invited into the Parade Ring. Here the
prestigious feeling of owning a Racehorse is truly felt as you meet the Jockey and go
over the final tactics. The Jockeys mount up and make their way out on to the course.
Before the off, should you wish, you`ve time to place a quick bet using your `first
hand` information as an Owner. And then the starter raises his flag, your heart is
pumping and adrenaline flowing through your body, and they`re off!
- 14:00 Arrive at Racecourse Park in the Owners / Trainers Car Park
- Pick up your exclusive Owners badge at the Owners entrance
- Make your way to the Owners & Trainers bar
- When its time for your horse to race head into the Parade Ring, meet the jockey and go through the final race tactics
- The rest is down to the Horse and jockey

Things you need to know
The first part takes place in Liphook, Hampshire and the Racecourse for the second part varies within different locations in the South and depends on the dates.
Most likely racecourses for second part are: Bath, Brighton, Epsom, Fontwell, Plumpton, Ascot, Folkestone, Goodwood, Kempton, Southwell, Salisbury, Lingfield, Newbury and Sandown.
Minimum age: 18
Duration:
Part one: Introduction to your racehorse - please allow up to 2 ½ hours. Arrival at 10.30 for a lunch meeting.
Part two: A day at the Races as an Owner - most afternoon meetings start from either 14:00 - 18:00 or evening meetings from 17:00 - 21:00
Other Information
Availability:
Part one is available almost every Saturday throughout the year available.
The second part is available on selected weekdays/weekends.
For second part: Almost all racecourses require a smart dress code. Gentlemen are particularly advised to wear a jacket and tie.
Spectator Information:
A guests pass, valid for part one and two can be purchased for £50.00, but only up to one guest per experience.
