Description

After approximately 30 minutes of tuition and a video, you will be kitted out and then taken to the aircraft by your instructor. Before take-off your harness will be very securely attached to your instructor following which you will enjoy a very pleasant flight climbing to a height of up to 13,500 feet. Your instructor will then exit the aircraft immediately releasing a drogue which effectively slows down your rate of decent, allowing a video cameraman to fly with you at the same speed, whilst filming your skydive.

After flying through the air (skydiving) at up to 120 mph for some 40 seconds, your instructor will open his canopy which is specially designed to carry the combined weight of two people. This will occur at 5,500 feet from which you will enjoy a comparatively slow drift down to earth whilst enjoying the most magnificent view of the surrounding countryside.

Things you need to know

Our jumps only take place at centres belonging to the BPA. All instructors are trained to BPA standards. After removing your equipment you will be invited to the video room for an immediate viewing of your thrill of a lifetime. You may decide to purchase the video or still photographs or your experience but there is no obligation to do so.

On purchasing this experience you will be sent an attractive ‘open dated’ gift voucher pack. There are no extra charges for VAT or postage. Accident and Cancellation Insurance is also included.

Other Information

Restricted to ages 16-50. Children aged 16-17 will need parental consent.The maximum weight is around 13 stones and should be in proportion to your height. There are strict health regulations for your benefit, and if you`re over 39, you will need a doctors certificate. Most centres provide the jumps on a first come first served basis. A medical declaration must be signed and different clubs operate their own height and weight restriction.
