Description

This 2 day Survival Experience is ideal for people looking to get a real taste of outdoor survival in a relatively short period of time. You`ll spend a night under the stars in a shelter you`ve built and make fire without matches using natural resources to keep warm and cook wild foods which you`ve gathered.

We`ll provide a survival tin packed with survival tools and equipment for use during the course and at the end you`ll be able to take it home to keep along with your certificate.

Attendees get free membership to our Survival Club with equipment discounts, a discussion forum and receive regular newsletters packed with useful outdoor advice and survival tips.

This course is great fun with enough reality to provide just the right amount of challenge and reward for anyone between the ages of 18 and 70.

A typical course covers;

• Shelter building
• Water collection and purification
• Plant ID for food and medicine
• Trap setting (no animals are harmed on our courses)
• Navigation
• Signalling

Things you need to know

Our courses are suitable for most reasonable levels of fitness and age. Participants will require some outdoor equipment although there is the option to hire much of this. We are able to accommodate most dietary requirements with notice and courses run all year round throughout the UK. Due to the nature of our locations and some of the activities involved, all participants must be comfortable walking slowly whilst carrying their backpack and happy to get by without WC facilities.

All participants with medical conditions should speak with us before booking. Participants must be at least 18 years.

Spectator Information:

This is not a spectator oriented experience.
