Description

Your experience begins with a guided tour of the centre. Then, having been shown the various eagles at the centre, you`ll receive expert instruction regarding the handling of the birds and will immediately be taken out in the morning to fly one of our larger eagles, normally a bald eagle - weighing approximately 4 kilos with a 5 and 1/2 foot wingspan! You will have the opportunity to recall the eagle to the glove.

Afterwards you will return to the centre for lunch and also have the opportunity to watch the 12.00 o`clock demonstration. In the afternoon you will go with your instructor onto the Downs to get hands on with the other eagles including a Bateleur and a Tawny eagle.

This day is an exclusive experience for two people.

The day begins at 10am and finishes at 4.30pm. Refreshments and lunch are included.

Things you need to know

Minimum age 18. You should be reasonably fit as there is a certain amount of walking involved. Novices and those with some experience of birds of prey are more than welcome; the day is designed around the level of experience.

Other Information

This experience last approximately 6 hours and operates throughout the year (subject to availability). Please dress according to the weather and bring Wellington boots. .

Spectator Information:

This experience is not suitable for spectators. Dogs are not allowed.
