Description

Upon arrival at the lake, one of our friendly, qualified instructors will greet you and then take you through to have all the necessary equipment fitted. Once changed, the instructor will talk you through all the necessary safety briefs and then start your waterskiing/wakeboarding training with a dry land lesson, where you will be shown the start position and how to roll up onto your feet.

Once you understand this, the next stage is to take to the water on the training bar. The bar, as the name suggests, is a bar attached to the side of the boat, giving the skier more stability than if they started straight on the long line. Another advantage for skiers on the bar is that they are never more than a few feet from their instructor, who can therefore provide `real time` coaching. Once you have mastered a few starts on the bar, it is time to have a go on the long rope. After being on the water for twenty minutes, it is time to return to the dock where you have a chance to regain some energy during the break before your next and final session.

The final session consists of ten minutes consolidating what you learned in your first session. Everybody has success with this course, with the vast majority of people being successful on the long rope.

Your day will include:

• Safety brief and dryland tuition provided for beginners
• Twenty minutes starting with the training bar
• Ten more minutes, improving what was learned in the first session
• Debrief from an instructor.

Suitable for adults and children. You will need to take a swimming costume, towels and wash bag. Wetsuits and equipment are provided.

Spectator Information:

Facilities for spectators include: Lakeside Brasserie with a large sun deck with fantactic view of the boat skiing lake,onsite gym, childrens play park, large sandy beaches and onsite shop selling surf clothing and equipment. Please note there are no picnics, dogs or swimmers allowed.
